Black Youth Creatives is thrilled to announce a free summer program for students in grades 5-7 from Grand Rapids Public Schools

• Dates: July 10-13, 17-20

• Times: 11 am - 3:30 pm 

• Location: Messiah Baptist Church​​

• Student Exhibition: Saturday, July 29

Students will be provided the resources needed to start their creative photography journey. They will spend time learning the basics of photography and being exposed to different styles of photography and the ways they can express themselves through photography.

Students must have an endorsement from their principal or teacher before being considered as fully enrolled in the program. 

​

At the end of the program, we will have an exhibition where students can proudly display the work that they have accomplished to their friends and family.

We hope that with the success of our 2023 program, we can continue this program for students in the future!
