Our Mission

Black Youth Creatives aims to make creative possibilities more accessible to the Black youth.​Many creative possibilities remain untouched due to their lack of accessibility whether that is location, price, or a variety of other factors. At Black Youth Creatives we aim to break down the barriers that prevent access to these possibilities and spaces.​ Black Youth Creatives aspire to create a safe space for youth to explore, test boundaries, and be spontaneous through a creative lens. We intend to provide resources, access equality, knowledge, and opportunities to allow the youth to develop skillsets that build on their innate talents and enhance a sense of freedom.​We intend to teach creativity and artmaking through the act of doing, and through the act of creation, our youth will be able to express and explore themselves.
